Bruce E. Parmley
After more than 30 years as a partner at Hogan Lovells, Bruce Parmley recently moved away from “Big Law” but not from his practice, not from his clients, and not from the industry’s radar. Bruce’s practice remains vibrant. He has the same notable clients and some formidable new ones, and is the only attorney with the “Senior Statespeople” distinction in the sizable USA-Nationwide Leisure & Hospitality listings by Chambers and Partners, the leading global attorney rankings organization in which Bruce has been ranked in the top tiers for over 21 years.

In addition to Chambers, Bruce has been recognized over many years by Who’s Who Legal: Real Estate, Legal 500, Super Lawyers and other publications as a leading go-to practitioner representing owners of, and investors in, substantial estate projects.
His recognition comes from clients and colleagues in the industry, lawyers and non-lawyers. Maybe this is because of his many years of experience, maybe because of his style with transactions, maybe because of his client service, and maybe because he’s fun to work with. Bruce genuinely enjoys what he does (which is why he is still doing it).
National & International Focus on Luxury Hotels & Resorts
Bruce serves as principal and special real estate counsel to sophisticated owner, investor and operator clients, and is regularly involved in transactions in the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East. He is a transactional lawyer and negotiates and drafts legal agreements for international luxury hotel, resort and other real estate projects (such as acquisitions, sales, ventures, hotel management, branding, technical services and franchise agreements, financings, leases, restaurant and “celebrity chef” agreements, and related agreements in the luxury and upper scale hotel sectors).
